Unlike middleman Platforms like Airbnb who take no responsibility for their hosts or guests, We personally own and operate all current listings as hosts, and therefore can give personal guarantee of experience, quality, and support. All of our units are available for Short term, Monthly, and Long term rentals.

From Local Information in multiple Languages, to Cleaning Supplies, to Cooking Equipment, to Linens from our Professional Supplier, to our High Quality Wifi Networks, We worry about your stay so you don't have to.

Cheapest Rates

Our units are listed on Airbnb, VRBO, and other popular Booking Platforms. As MyTokyoApt is not a Middleman, we don't charge guests the service fee that these other bookings platforms rely on for their revenue, which can increase the booking cost by up to 20% in some circumstances. This means you're saving up to 1/5 the cost of a normal reservation just by booking on MyTokyoApt! In addition, We'll always make sure our pricing here is just below what we charge on our other booking platforms, as an extra incentive to book directly with us! Savings All Around!

Provide ID, receive Checkin Details, And you're ready to have a fantastic stay with us. That's it! Leave a review to give us your feedback after your stay, and we'll analyze your experience for any improvements we can make for your next stay.

MyTokyoApt is a built By Japanese nationals and residents with deep experience and expert knowledge of the Apartment Rental (Minpaku) business in Japan. Our process and units follow all applicable Japanese law, and we can answer any questions or concerns you might have. The result is thea easiest, cheapest, and quickest way to rent an apartment in Japan.

Step 1 : Explore

Explore our 32+ listings. View photos, location, description, price, and availability.

Step 2 : Create a Quote

If you find a unit you like, Make a Quote to confirm your interest in the property. This generates a payable Quote with detailed price breakdown and payment schedule, and additional information. This quote will be valid for 24 hours by default. We can send you a personalized quote directly as well.

Step 3 : Create an Account (if not already)

If you don't have an account, You'll be prompted to enter your Name, Email, and Phone number. You'll be automatically logged in and we'll Email you a password you can use for login, along with a link for verification and to the quote. If you were logged in when you created the quote, it will be automatically associated to your account.

Step 4 : Payment

You can choose to enter a new payment option or use an existing one. This processes the First payment and confirms the reservation. For long term reservations in multiple payments, future payments will be attempted automatically according to the payment schedule.

Step 5 : Confirmed Reservation -- Exchange ID and Access Details

You'll be forwarded to a confirmation page and receive an email confirmation. You have a message thread within MyTokyoApt to send us messages, as well as additional contact information. Japanese law requires all guests and tenants to provide a valid ID as well.

Step 6 : Have a wonderful stay
